They are found in Asia and South America, so I may have to travel to get to them, though I also wish that I could propagate them in the Bay Area and that I would be naked in nature when I try them.

People are squeamish about their own bodies due to being required to wear clothes
Clothes are an environmental pollutant
We need to protect people’s right to live in their own skin

I wish we all grew…

…the seeds of fruit that we eat…
…especially of tropical fruits such as mango, papaya, avocado, citrus, cherimoya, sapote, durian, and jackfruit.

It’s as easy as putting dirt in a planter to be ready for when you enjoy an especially delicious fruit that you would like to grow more of, then periodically watering.

If you have a tropical fruit seed before you have a planter ready:

moisten a paper towel
fold the seed into moist paper towel
place this in an unsealed plastic bag
get around to filling a planter with dirt or potting mix to plant it in

Tropical fruit seeds generally require warm, moist environments to survive and cannot tolerate freezing or being dried out.

I wish for more people to try a fruitarian or raw vegan diet, by foraging local fruit or even purchasing widely-available supermarket produce.

Pro tip: replace savory cooked foods with avocado, tomato, cucumber, durian or various savory locally-grown fruit (e.g. dogwood, ginkgo, avocado).

Looking For Eden

durian, Eden, fruit, fruitarian, fruitarian utopia, Looking For, manifest, paradise, Tech-free, tropical fruit, utopia

I am looking for a natural expanse where:

my baby & I would be safe to roam naked
there are durian trees that fruit year-round, amongst other fruit trees, that we are free to pick from

On this land, I would assemble one or few shelters made of earthen materials (such as cob).

If this place does not exist or is not available to me, I can compromise in the meantime by cultivating a food forest on naked-safe land.

I believe that a primitive lifestyle is a basic right to all people. By fostering a stable, livable climate and growing fruit trees that evolved to feed primates, we provide a baseline of wellbeing.

Durian trees are ultra-tropical. The farther away from the tropics that one seems to grow them, the larger of a grow movement is needed to foster its ideal growing climate.

I welcome others who would join me on this path. This platform, LeelaMaps, is intended for coordinating the development of ecofriendly spaces.

Where I live at this time (April ‘23), the affordable durian has been frozen, and the fresh durian was picked underripe.

When feasible, I consume a durian a day, which is the majority of what I eat.
