Privacy

Notes in Leela Maps are, by default, publicly viewable by all looking at the map. Only users can use the search or filter functions in the menu.

Notes that have been set to have password-protection are not visible on the main map and require a password for their contents to be seen. Moderators can view the contents at the behest of users who gain access and report that it is breaking the rules.

If you are looking for a map notes platform with encrypted privacy, you can use the iOS/Mac version of Leela Maps.

If none of these options are suitable for your uses, we recommend that you donate to the Leela Maps project to support continued development.
