Hi, my name is Leela and I am a mom, a food forester, and the designer of the map notes platform,
LeelaMaps.
A functional demo of LeelaMaps is available at leelamaps-dot-com, but it desperately needs a rebuild as a solid web app. The funds will cover the fees for web hosting and redeveloping LeelaMaps in React using AI (Vercel).
Why use AI? Because to have humans build this platform could cost thousands, even hundreds of thousands of dollars. AI cuts down fees and development time substantially.
LeelaMaps provides an easy way to share what we know & want in the world for ourselves and other people to find on a map, publicly or privately.
Plants, emergency resources, dating profiles, home businesses, you name it!
Given the state of the world right now, it seems important to help people coordinate resources together, directly on a map.

Who I am:
I am a naturist frugivore who is seeking to live a primitive lifestyle. My vision for LeelaMaps originated when I was living as a nomadic socialite between communal homes in the San Francisco Bay Area, witnessing the various sharing & gift economies that supported communal lifestyles. Over time, my dream evolved into fostering global food forests— but the core flexible platform remained the same.
How I know I can do it:
In the current version of LeelaMaps, I have already implemented AI to develop stable features. However, the Wordpress foundation isn't structured for sufficient performance for scaling, so it's time to rebuild.
Fortunately, I have familiarity with React & Node.js, which is the preferred platform for the AI that I am starting work with (Vercel).
